📍 R2B – Research to Business 2024

In the afternoon of 27/06, from 4 to 4:50 p.m. in the Health and Wellbeing arena at R2B, the workshop “Innovative and Personalized Therapies” was held in which, as the lead partner of the N2ERT project, we took part thanks to the intervention of Prof. Laura Calzà – IRET Foundation.
Moderating the meeting was Nicole Ticchi, Communication Manager of Clust-ER Health.

The focus of the appointment was an analysis of the state of the art of medicine, which is at a crossroads: on the one hand, there are traditional methods, which although effective, show their limitations; on the other hand, new frontiers are opening, offering hope for a healthier and more personalized future for all. Therefore, innovative and personalized therapies are the key to unlocking this potential, revolutionizing the way we conceive and approach the treatment of disease.

Also as part of the projects co-funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region within the ERDF Regional Operational Programme 2021-2027, the projects were also presented:

✔️ 3D-PIONEER (3D-PRINTED ONCO-NEUROSPHERES) – 3D translational platform for drug screening and advanced cell therapies for glioblastoma multiforme whose lead partner is the Istituto Scientifico Romagnolo per lo studio e la cura dei tumori – IRST – IRCCS;
✔️ GLYMED – Repositioning of glycosaminoglycans in new medicinal products for the treatment of degenerative joint diseases whose lead partner is Biopharmanet TEC – University of Parma;
✔️ HG7 3.0 – Stem cells and personalized medicine: the case of epidermolysis bullosa whose lead partner is CIDSTEM – University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
